Considering thecurrent changes in Cyprus, Baker Tilly (Cyprus) and Baker Tilly (Ukraine) conducted a seminar on"Cyprus: latest changes.What to expect?"
Speakers presenting during the seminar were focused on recent changes in the economy and a general overview of what Cyprus may offer. Also, representatives of the Cyprus office of Baker Tilly were describing the changes in tax legislation, problems of taxation and royalties in Cyprus, VAT and planned changes in taxation in 2013- 2014 and the issues of latest changes of the banking system of Cyprus operating.
Specialists of Ukrainian representative office of Baker Tilly were presenting the issues regarding the conditions of implementation of agreement on the avoidance of double taxation of Ukrainian taxpayers and operational anti-crisis measures for Ukrainian companies.
Honorary invited guest at the seminar was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Ukraine, Evagoras Vryonides.
