«III Luhansk International Investment Forum» (LIF) was conducted on October 11-13, 2012 in Luhansk city and was attended by government officials, politicians, regional leaders and leading experts, investors and businesses in Ukraine, CIS and other foreign countries.
On behalf of Baker Tilly Ukraine Partner and CFO, Gagik Nersesyan took part in the Forum as an expert of discussion panel “Doing Business by foreign companies in Ukraine" grounding his speech on the following key themes:
1. Reduction of Doing Business in Ukraine Rating in 2012 as an incentive to further positive changes.
2. A new procedure for the payment of income tax in 2013 as a step to be closer to the European practice of tax administration.
3. Continuous reduction of the tax burden to the taxpayer as the result of the adoption of the Tax Code.
4. Single tax as a lever of development of small and medium business in Ukraine.
5. Investment stimulation.
