The First International Conference "The Role and Place of Internal Audit in modern conditions" was held on 17 - 18 October in Kyiv. It was organized by Institute of Internal Auditors of Ukraine.
Interesting and relevant reports on the implementation and application of international standards and international best practices in the work of internal audit units were presented during of two days of the conference. The participantes were leading Ukrainian holdings, representatives of regulatory agencies and representatives of audit firms
Following the conference, participants were able to obtain a theoretical knowledge and exchange useful information as well as practice key elements of internal audit.
One of the speakers of the conference was the manager of "Baker Tilly" Vitaliy Havrysh, who disclosed the questions of internal and external audit connection. The report had a great interest of the participans.
