Alexander Konovchenko, Partner of "Baker Tilly Ukraine," took part in the second International conference of the insurance market participants: "New in regulation of Insurance market of Ukraine», which took place from the 3rd to the 9th of September in 2012 in Kemer city (Turkey). Conference was conducted for the second time and shown itself as a place for meeting of large numbers of leading TOP-managers, business managers and representatives of administrations. The conference was held for the second time and established itself as a meeting place for many leading Top managers, business leaders and representatives of the administrations. This event is an important platform for discussion of the most important problems of the insurance market in Ukraine, the prospects for the future.
Conference participants discussed issues related to the development of the insurance business, in particular:
• The new Law of Ukraine "On Insurance";
• entered into force July 1, 2012 the Law of Ukraine "On peculiarities of agricultural insurance with state support";
• the overall tax system (pay and redundancy insurance, IFRS);
• databases, corporate governance and internal audit;
• the activities of insurance intermediaries;
• Motor Bureau (CTP, direct settlement);
• Life insurance (pension reform, compatible insurance products);
• Staffing insurance activities (education, training, skills development, development of top management), and others.
